Abstract The purpose of the present study is to examine the effects of the current EBS English (EBSe) after-school program and suggest further directions for its improvement. The survey was conducted among 904 EBSe users: 160 students, 157 parents, 64 teachers, and 523 others. They responded to questionnaires about usage experience and the effects of the program, and their responses were analyzed. The results show that 40.5% of the participants have experience using the EBSe after-school English program, including 56.3% of the students, 53.1% of the teachers, and 52.9% of the parents. Regarding the effects of the program, the overall average score is 4.18 out of 5, with all items receiving above 4 points. Among these, the participants most positively appreciate the program’s effect on developing listening and reading skills and supporting and complementing school education. Additionally, they confirm that the program is effective in developing regular study habits, improving speaking and writing skills, and reducing the need for and expenses of private English education. Finally, 80.1% of the participants expressed their willingness to use the program when it updates and improves its contents. Their suggestions about content development and program improvement are also analyzed, and implications are discussed. KCI Citation Count: 0
