카자흐스탄의 2022년 1월 소요사태의 원인과 결과 : 사회경제적 문제를 중심으로

본 논문은 2022년 1월 발생한 카자흐스탄 소요사태에 대해 사회구조적 문제의 관점에서 그 원인과 결과를 다양한 정치경제적 데이터와 사례를 통해 분석하였다. 2장에서는 권위주의 체제 변화에 미치는 요인에 관한 기존 논문을 검토하여 본 논문의 이론적 토대를 제시하였다. 3장에서는 1월 소요사태의 주요 원인으로 경제적 불평등 및 부패 문제와 나자르바예프 초대 대통령의 일가와 지배 엘리트의 정재계 독점에 대한 국민들의 누적된 불만을 중심으로 분석하였다. 4장에서는 1월 소요사태 전개 과정의 결과로서 나자르바예프 일가 및 지배 엘리트의 정재계 퇴출과 몰락 등 탈나자르바예프화(De-Nazarbayevification)를 중심으로 분석하였다. This paper analyzed the causes and consequences of the January 2022 unrest in Kazakhstan from the perspective of social structural problems, using various political and economic data and cases. In Chapter 2, we reviewed the existing literature on the factors affecting authoritarian regime change and presented the theoretical basis of this paper. In Chapter 3, we analyzed the main causes of the January unrest, focusing on the economic inequality and corruption problems and the accumulated dissatisfaction of the people with the monopoly of the political system by the family and ruling elites of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the first president. In Chapter 4, we analyzed the results of the January unrest process, focusing on the de-Nazarbayevification, which refers to the expulsion and downfall of Nazarbayev’s family and ruling elites from the political system.
