Abstract | This study improved conventional circle settling basin, through the way such as extend of inlet pipe length, introduction of device for inducing uniforming of flow, keeping of height of sludge interface. Also, we compared conventional circle settling basin to improved circle settling basin the water treatment efficiency. When the amount of inflow is the same design amount, improvement rate of SS and COD were 71.1%, 20.1% approximately compared to conventional Circular clarifiers. And when the two times than design amount, improvement rate of SS and COD were 54.0%, 16.1% approximately.
