Abstract | In this study, we described how to proceed with Chinese character education for Korean Chinese learners. This paper described the results of 'Chinese character education' class for second-grade students and 'Readings in Elementary Chinese' class for first-grade students who majoring in Chinese language in college, creating some new Chinese characters using the six categories of Chinese characters(Liu-shu), drawing pictures using some ancient Chinese characters, and writing Chinese characters using animation of the stroke order of Chinese characters. As a result, most students were interested in learning Chinese characters using various activities, and they responded that these activities would lower the burden and enhance interest in learning Chinese characters while also helping them improve their Chinese character skills.
Using various methods of teaching Chinese characters that can not only help enhance learners' interest in learning Chinese characters, it is also can change their perception of Chinese characters. Furthermore, it could also help improve learners' Chinese character skills and Chinese language skills. |

Furthermore, it could also help improve learners' Chinese character skills and Chinese language skills. 본고는 한자를 어려워하는 한국인 중국어 학습자를 위해 다양한 한자 교육 방법을 제시하고 이를 실제 교실수업에 활용하는 방법을 살펴보는 것에 목적을 두고 연구를 진행하였다. 본문에서는 구체적으로 중국어를 전공하는 초급 수준의 대학생들을 대상으로 육서를 활용한 한자 만들기와 고문자를 활용한 그림 그리기, 필순 동영상을 활용한 한자 쓰기 등의 활동을 진행한 결과를 서술하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 학생들이 관련 활동에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 이러한 활동이 한자 학습에 대한 부담을 낮추고 흥미를 높이는 동시에 한자 능력 향상에도 도움이 될 것이라고 답하였다. 학습자의 흥미를 높일 수 있는 다양한 한자 교육 방법을 활용하는 것은 기존에 학습자들이 갖고 있는 ‘한자는 어렵다’는 인식을 변화시키는 데 도움이 될 수 있으며, 나아가 한자 능력 향상에도 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
