기업과 엔지니어의 사회적 책임에 관한 연구

과학은 두 날을 가진 칼에 비유할 수 있다. 그것은 유토피아를 가져올 수 있으나 악몽으로 바뀔 수도 있다. 영화 ‘아일랜드’에서는 인간이 자신의 복제품을 만들어 사고와 질병에서 벗어날 수 있는 유토피아를 꿈꿨으나, 생각할 줄 아는 복제품이 원본을 위해 장기를 이식하고 쓰레기처럼 버려지는 현실은 악몽 그 자체였다. 이와 같이 과학기술의 파급효과가 커지고 부작용이 커지면서 과학기술의 상용화를 통해 이익을 추구하는 기업과 그 기업을 위해 일하는 엔지니어의 사회적 책임이 점차 그 중요성을 더해가고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 과학기술의 위험성에도 불구하고 상업화되는 과정에서 발생하는 문제를 기업과 엔지니어가 사회적 책임의 관점에서 바르게 인식하는 것이 얼마나 중요한지, 그리고 과학기술과 기업윤리가 공존할 수 있는 방향은 무엇인지를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 Ⅱ장에서는 과학기술이 안고 있는 위험성에도 불구하고 기업이 상업화를 통해 위험한 이윤 추구를 하는 문제와 그에 따른 다양한 사례를 제시하고자 한다. Ⅲ장에서는 기업윤리와 기업이익이 불가분의 관계임을 사례를 통해 제시함으로써 기업과 엔지니어의 사회적 책임의 중요성을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 전문가 집단인 엔지니어의 자율성과 내부고발에 주목하고자 한다. 마지막으로 Ⅳ장에서는 과학기술과 기업윤리의 공존 가능성과 원칙을 제시해보고자 한다. A Study on the Social Responsibility of the Corporate & Engineer Nowadays, the science will be able to compare to a knife which has two blades. The science may create utopia, but it will be exchanged with nightmare. The human being made the clone of oneself, it dreamed utopia which is the possibility of escaping from accident and disease, In the movie, 'The Island', original has transplanted internal organs from the clone, and the clone came to throw away like the trash. This fact is in itself of nightmare. The ripple effect and side effect of scientific technique became larger, the social responsibility of the corporate and the engineer came to be more important little by little. The objective of this paper is to study on the social responsibility of the corporate and the engineer. In other words, From viewpoint of social responsibility of the enterprise and the engineer, we must recognize the problem which occurs from commercialization process of scientific technique. And we must propose the coexistence direction of scientific technique and business ethics. In order to achieve the objective, I would like to (1) review the danger of scientific technique which commercialization it does even dangerously in spite of, And I will present the instance of the scientific technique which is dangerous, (2) analyze the importance of social responsibility of the enterprise and the engineer. Because the business ethics and corporate profit are a relationship of inevitability. Specially, I pay attention in autonomy and whistle blow of the engineer as the specialist, and (3) propose the coexistence possibility and principle of coexistence of scientific technique and business ethics.
