The contract review process begins with reviewing the proposal draft, and later, in the second stage, the contract draft is reviewed. The role of the software quality assurance (SQA) function is major in carrying out contract reviews. The objective of the proposal draft review is to make sure that the following activities were satisfactorily carried out by the proposal team. The chapter refers to who performs the contract review and implementation of a contract review for a major proposal. Customer‐supplier relationship and contract review that proves to be fruitful for external projects should be applied to internal projects as well.
