| Abstract | Abstract The realization of a society in which people with diverse lifestyles can coexist and are mutually recognized has become a social issue in recent years. Sport is no exception, and the human coexistence in sporting activities has become an important issue in both research and policy. The purpose of this study was to clarify issues for the promotion of coexistence in sport among university students by clarifying respondents’ actual consciousness of this mindset in sport. This study was conducted through administering a questionnaire survey among university students to analyze their actual consciousness of coexistence in sport. A total of 7,614 university students participated, forming the subjects of the analysis. The analysis produced the following findings. First, university students had a high consciousness of playing sport with a variety of other people, as well as an individualistic consciousness of playing sport at their own pace. Second, the actual state of consciousness of human coexistence was analyzed from the perspective of gender differences. It transpired that differences existed in consciousness of this mindset in sport activities, depending on gender. Specifically, women had a higher consciousness of human coexistence when participating in sport activities. Third, it became clear that the consciousness of a mindset toward coexistence in sport differs depending on the characteristics of the organization. It was confirmed that university students had a consciousness of the need to play sport with a diverse range of other people. The results also revealed the necessity of reconsidering the university and sport activities as a concrete environment for this type of mindset in the future. |

近年，人々の多様な在り方を相互に認め合える共生社会の実現が社会的課題となっている．スポーツも例外ではなく，スポーツにおける共生は研究的にも政策的にも重要な課題となっている．本研究は大学生のスポーツにおける共生意識の実態の解明を通じて，大学生のスポーツにおける共生の促進のための課題を明らかにすることを目的とした．本研究では，大学生を対象にアンケート調査を実施し，大学生のスポーツにおける共生意識の実態を分析した．分析対象は，7,614名の大学生であった．分析の結果，以下の点が明らかになった．第一に，大学生は多様な他者とともにスポーツを行う意識と，個人のペースでスポーツを行おうとする個人主義的な意識のいずれも高かった．第二に，共生意識の実態について性差の観点から分析した結果，スポーツにおける共生意識には性差による差異がみられた．具体的には，スポーツにおける共生意識は女性のほうが高かった．第三に，スポーツにおける共生意識は組織特性によって異なることが明らかになった．大学生には多様な他者とスポーツを行おうとする意識があることが確認できた．今後，大学体育・スポーツの場を具体的な共生の場と捉えなおす必要性があることを指摘した． Abstract The realization of a society in which people with diverse lifestyles can coexist and are mutually recognized has become a social issue in recent years.
