Abstract It has been 22 years since psychiatrist Robert Jay Lifton gave the world his copious gift of pain entitled, The Nazi Doctors'. Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide. In it he catalogues the events in the lives of healers and scientists as they dispensed an unthinkable medicine of doom upon their human subject-victims; all in the name of so-called science. As a result of the war crime tribunals at Nuremberg, the Nuremburg Code was established in order to prevent harmful research and experimentation from ever happening again.
