Abstract | 1998年10月に第8回, 1999年6~7月に第9回のOECD高生産量化学物質初期評価会議が行われた。日本からはそれぞれ4物質および6物質の初期評価文書を提出, 発表し, その結果, 第8回会議では3物質(benzyl chloride, pentaerythritol, 2, 6-dichlorotoluene), また, 第9回会議では4物質(isocyanuric acid, 2, 2 azobis(2-methylpropionitrile), dimethyl 2, 6-naphthalenedicarboxylate, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid)の評価結果について合意が得られた。本稿では, 第8および9回会議で合意の得られた上記7物質の初期評価文書のヒトへの健康影響部分について, その要旨を紹介し, 続いて, benzyl chlorideとisocyanuric acidについてはその内容について紹介した。Benzyl chlorideは日本から提出された物質としては初めて"今後の対策が必要"との結論になったものであり, isocyanuric acidについては, 消費者暴露が明確であり, 暴露シナリオを用いてリスクが評価された。 |
