Basic study and clinical application for elimination of serium free hemoglobin during open heart surgery

Elimination of serium free hemoglobin was studied with plasmafilter (P-F) after E. C. C. blood which was made of polypropylene membrane hollow fiber tubes. Serium free hemoglobin and protein was decreased about 25% after 1000ml filtrated and then this P-F had been applied for valve disease and conge...

Summary:Elimination of serium free hemoglobin was studied with plasmafilter (P-F) after E. C. C. blood which was made of polypropylene membrane hollow fiber tubes. Serium free hemoglobin and protein was decreased about 25% after 1000ml filtrated and then this P-F had been applied for valve disease and congenital heart disease (ASD). In conclusion, concentrationn of free Hb was decreased successfully but that of protein IgG and pletlet was not so decreased.
