Summary:The patient was a 4-month-old girl pointed out abdominal distension. Computed tomography demonstrated a mass on the left kidney and multiple masses in the liver. The patient was referred to our hospital. She showed remarkable hepatomegaly, however, no renal failure or dyspnea due to pressure of the liver to the kidney or to the lung. Biochemical examinations showed serous AST: 111IU/l, ALT: 61 IU/l, NSE: 35ng/ml, urinary VMA: 1310.9μg/mgCRE. HVA: 701.6μg/mg CRE. There was no infiltration into the skin, bone marrow or bone. She was diagnosed as neuro blastoma-IVS and has been followed up with no treatment. The liver decreased in size to normal and the left suprarenal mass disappeared. After the urinary VMA and HVA rose transiently, they finally normalized below 30μg/mgCRE.
