Abstract | 1995年と1996年のめん羊の非繁殖季節に, 非多産系のサフォーク種8頭と多産系のブールーラー・ドーセットの交雑種16頭に対し, それぞれ簡易的過剰排卵法である20mgFSH1回投与+500IUeCGまたは通常法である20mgFSH6回分割投与+500IUeCGを施し, 種および過剰排卵処置の違いが, 発情前後の血漿中E2およびLH濃度, 卵巣反応および回収卵の性質に及ぼす影響を検討した。 処置に反応した, 全ての多産系のあん羊が過剰排卵 (排卵数4以上) したのに対し, 非多産系のめん羊の4/8が3個以下の多排卵であった。回収卵の性状については, 多産系のめん羊では新鮮精液で良い受精率が得られたが (87.7%), 凍結融解精液および新鮮希釈精液では受精率が悪かった (10.5%, 23.2%) 。しかし, 受精した卵子は胚盤胞および拡張胚盤胞が多かった。非多産系のめん羊は受精率は良好であったが (簡易法75.0%, 通常法100%), 通常法では正常胚は66.7%とやや少なく, 簡易法では正常胚が20.0%とさらに少なかった。多産系のめん羊では繁殖季節と同様, 正常の過剰排卵時のE2の濃度変化を示していたが, 非多産系のめん羊ではE2ピークがスポンジ除去近くの早期に見られ, それ以後E2が上昇しない個体が6/8あり, その傾向は簡易法の全頭に認められた。また, 内因性のLHサージが, 種および処置に関係なく, 早期に現れた。以上のように, 非繁殖季節では繁殖季節と異なり, 非多産系のサフォーク種では回収胚の質の低下およびE2濃度上昇の早期化と短縮化がみられた。これは特に簡易的過剰排卵法で顕著であり, 非多産系の種に対し非繁殖季節に過剰排卵を行う場合は, 数回にわたるpFSHの投与が必要と思われ, 過剰排卵法の検討が必要であると思われる。一方, 多産系のめん羊は, 非繁殖季節も繁殖季節と同様の血漿中のE2濃度の変化や, 卵巣反応を維持していた。 |
