Summary:Currently, the power industry is still dominated by traditional coal-fired thermal power units. Ultra-supercritical (UCS) units are widely used in most areas of my country due to their large installed capacity and high cycle thermal efficiency. However, it produces large carbon emissions during the power generation process and fails to meet the demand for diversified energy sources in some regions. Therefore, this article combines ultra-supercritical units with integrated energy systems and proposes three solutions. Firstly, mathematical modeling of various equipment is performed. Secondly, carbon tax is taken into account when optimizing the equipment capacity of the integrated energy system. Finally, the heuristic algorithm in the Gurobi solver is used to find the optimal solution, and the three proposed solutions are evaluated using economic efficiency and carbon emissions as indicators. The results show that the proposed scheme can meet diversified energy needs. The scheme of adding gas boilers and absorption heat pumps has the lowest total annual cost. The scheme of adding gas boilers, absorption heat pumps, electric energy storage, thermal energy storage, and cold energy storage devices has the lowest total annual cost. Annual carbon dioxide emissions are minimal. Compared with the initial plan, the annual total cost of the optimal plan can be reduced by 27.93 million yuan, and the annual carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 106,500 tons.
