Abstract RIC is abbreviated as In-core instrumentation system of nuclear power plant. The system is used for In-core neutron measurement. Motor-operated valve testing system is designed to test the function and performance of RIC Motor-operated valve. The testing system plays an important role in the daily maintenance work. In this paper, the Motor-operated valve testing system is designed based on PLC and electronic technology. Through hardware and software design and testing after design, the testing system has been proven to meet the requirements of the technical specification. Modular design of the testing system architecture, each module is independent of each other; this is beneficial for expansion and maintenance.
