Summary:The driving system is gradually improving with the development of technology, especially for the passive safety system. However, according to the statistics of traffic accidents in Department of statistics, Ministry of Transportation and Communications R.O.C. (MOTC), there are 274,042 traffic accidents in average in the past five years. Among them, the total amount of accidents in category A1 has not decreased significantly, and mostly, up to 96% or more amount those traffic accidents was caused by inappropriate driving behavior. Which means the main reason leads to the traffic accident is because of driving behavior. The research will mainly focus on if the Internet of Vehicle (IOV) has a positive influence on the driver's judgment. As well as the driving performance research on the new compatible warning interface. The result shows that it takes the subject 5.95 seconds to aware the blind spot warning for the left side, and 8.12 seconds for the right side. Moreover, the study also showed that the side blind spot warning could makes about 88% of all drivers to aware the side blind spot vehicles. The experiment result can be a good reference for the development of vehicle warning system in the future.
