Summary: | Population travel behavior modeling is a fundamental process in transportation planning and in the management of urban transportation systems. It plays a pivotal role in developing strategies that help alleviate urban traffic congestion. Most existing studies mainly focus on the theories and methodologies of travel behavior, but the development of methods addressing issues such as how to access large volumes of high-quality and spatial-temporal urban population travel data, implement dynamic modeling of travel behavior, and relevant experimental studies, does not receive adequate attention and has less research results. Urban population's dynamic trajectory can be represented and obtained through mobile phone positioning data and taxi GPS floating car data (FCD). By data fusion and traffic spatial analysis of these two type data sources, the urban population travel behavior is dynamic modeled, which is based on a GIS-based integrated information processing and analysis platform. |
