Summary:PRC-CW radar is mainly used to detect moving targets on ground. Ground clutter heaves fiercely, and its distribution is complex, which makes it difficult to detect targets correctly from time domain. The characteristics of moving targets and ground clutter differ in frequency domain. And the spectrum of targets may change with time, so, this paper designs the time-frequency two dimensional constant false alarm rate(CFAR) algorithm. Based on the analyze of pulse compression and moving targets detection(MTD) of this type radar, the two-dimensional CFAR algorithm is proved to be feasible via simulation. The results of simulation show that, the algorithm can measure the velocity and range of targets correctly. The clutter and noise are also restrained effectively.
