Summary:The paper presents the numerical modeling study of two-dimensional conduction for different wall structures. In the first part of the paper in introduction is presented the importance of the numerical modelling including a presentation of the most important existing numerical models for two dimensional conduction. The paper continues with the presentation of the main equations used for numerical modelling of two-dimensional heat conduction. The case study includes five numerical examples of such modelling: numerical modelling of a homogeneous plane parallel wall, numerical modelling of a homogeneous, plane parallel, infinite wall, numerical modelling of a plane parallel wall stressed differently on the two faces, numerical modelling of a homogeneous, plane parallel, infinite wall clad with an insulated layer on one face and numerical modelling of a wall composed of two layers of different materials.
