Summary:Due to the relatively low positioning accuracy of the DV-Hop algorithm in wireless sensor network, an optimized DV-Hop localization algorithm based on hop count optimization and ranging correction(HCRDV-Hop). Firstly, the algorithm uses multiple-communication radius broadcasting to revise the hop information between nodes to reduce errors caused by the hop information. Then the weight correction factor is used to reduce the average hop distance error. Finally, the improved sparrow search algorithm is used to replace the least squares method to compute the unknown node locations, which further improves the location accuracy of unknown nodes. Simulation verification shows that, in comparison with the DV-Hop, WPDV-Hop and MWDV-Hop localization algorithms, HCRDV-HOP algorithm can minimize the positioning error and enhance the localization performance.
