Summary:Droop-control is a common method for DC microgrids to realize grid stability and in-feed management. This work presents a novel compensation scheme that enables the grid integration of very low-dynamic converters without integrated droop control using other high-dynamic converters present in the grid. A wider range of converters can thus be used in DC microgrids. The compensation scheme is validated with a simulation of an existing DC grid.
