Abstract As one of the important communication technologies used in military domain, frequency-hopping (FH) was designed by switching the channel it used quickly in a pseudo random way to avoid being detected as well as escaping the jamming. However, traditional FH systems are being challenged by growing menaces as the electronic technologies developing rapidly. In order to improve the anti-jamming capability especially for the follower jamming, a novel multiple parallel frequency-hopping (MPFH) communication system was proposed in the paper. The MPFH system was designed to transmit information by using multiple hopping channels simultaneously, so the frequency hopping pattern was greatly puzzled for the jammers by expanding the random dimensionality from traditionally one-dimension to high-dimensions. Finally, anti-jamming ability to the follower jamming was simulated and proved for the novel MPFH system.
