Summary:In this work, a direct comparison between Indian ground radar (GR) and precipitation radar (PR) onboard the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) is first performed. Further, the matched GR observations are converted to a resolution (5 km X 0.25 km) same as that of space radar (SR) observations using regression methodology. Furthermore, GR observations are corrected against SR observations using an artificial neural network (ANN).
