Summary:In this paper, we propose a waveform selective surface (WSS) with dual-band property. By combining a conventional frequency selective surface (FSS) with circuit components, different responses to continuous and pulsed waves in a specified frequency band are achieved. The waveform selectivity is achieved by using the rectification characteristic of the diode and the time-domain response characteristic of the capacitor/inductor circuit. By properly design of the unit structures, waveform selectivity is realized in two independent frequency band.
