Summary:Recently, the research domain has shown increased interest into the impact of architecture and design on the healing journey, and the success of the health environment in general. This paper discusses a conceptual design application that exemplify how the design of a built environment may assist in ADHD treatment development. Given that the ADHD children reveal massive energy within their hyperactivity, this research investigates how a developed kinetic design proposal of a built environment may act as a source of inspiration and incorporation. This indicates that the physical motion and the spatial experience are integrated in order to improve the performance of the users and the building. The research also focusses on highlighting sustainability issues within this approach in a way that will promote a green innovative design framework.
