Summary:In order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of gear transmission error compensation, a coupling compensation method for small and medium modulus precision gear transmission error of CNC machine tools is proposed. Firstly, the gear transmission error is calculated, including the radial runout linear error, the axial movement linear error and the linear error caused by the accumulated pitch error. After the error calculation, the transmission function of the gear is calculated, and the transmission function is solved to complete the coupling compensation of transmission error. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional transmission error coupling compensation method, the transmission error of the proposed method is significantly reduced, and the compensation time is lower, which can meet the actual processing requirements of CNC machine tools.
