Summary:By numerical modeling of transmission spectra, a theoretical analysis of the optical properties of the CdS/CdTe film heterosystems has been carried out. The analysis takes into account the possible variation of the film thickness and the divergence of the incident beam. The modeling of the experimental transmission and reflection spectra shows the possibility of identifying the interfacial interaction at the boundaries of thin-film layers of cadmium sulfide and cadmium telluride leading to the formation of varison layers of solid solutions. In addition, modeling has shown that the coordinate-dependent permittivity of solid solutions leads to a significant increase in the reflection coefficient from the structure. The principal possibility of determining the parameters of solid solutions based on the spectra analysis of the transmission and reflection, measured at different angles, is indicated.
