Summary:One of the problems in vibration testing is the distortion of the test signal amplitude and spectrum when it is converted to vibration on the test bench. A feedback control system can be used to compensate for these unwanted distortions but it difficult to implement as requiring some extra components. The purpose of this study is to analyze the frequency response of the vibration table and to create a pre-distorting filter to compensate the distortions introduced by the vibration table. The test signal, before reaching the table, is processed using the developed filter. This approach allows equalization of the frequency response of the table without the need for a feedback control system.
