High-yield two-section single mode lasers based on a 37th order surface grating

A high-yield two-section single-mode laser based on a 37 th -order surface-grating is presented. By tuning the back section current, the laser exhibits a side-mode-suppression-ratio of upto 47dB over a temperature range from 15°C to 65°C.
