靈光 佛甲寺 腹藏本 「妙法蓮華經」 卷3의 刊年 問題

이 논문은 전라남도 영광군 불갑사 명부전 시왕상에서 발견된 「묘법연화경」 권3에 관한 서지학적 연구이다. 연구 대상 자료인 법화경은 현재 우리나라에서 발견된 판본과는 전혀 다른 특징을 보이고 있다. 그리하여 연구자는 권수제 형식과 판본서체 등의 특징을 분석한 결과, 대체로 돈황사본과 매우 유사하다는 결론을 도출하였다. 그 결과 이 자료는 10세기 전반의 인쇄본으로 판단하였는데, 이는 사본에서 인쇄본으로 본격적으로 전환되는 시기의 초기 인쇄물이라는 의미를 지닌다. This is the bibliographic study of the third volume of The Lotus Sutra(妙法蓮華經) found in the statues of Ten Kings, the Hall of Judgement, Bulgapsa in Youngkwang, Jeollanamdo. The characteristics of The Lotus Sutra investigated in this study were completely different from what have so far been found in other editions in Korea. An analysis of such features as the styles of ‘卷首題’(the first title) and calligraphy rather shows its similarities to the manuscripts of Dunhuang(敦煌). So, it is concluded that this particular Lotus Sutra was the print made in the early 10th century, and had the value as one of the early prints produced during the transitional period when manuscripts were largely converted into prints.
