Abstract [The present study is a part of a research on main factors involved in reproduction of crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus).Glucose concentration in hemolymph was significantly higher in subjects reared at 28 deg C and with a photoperiod of 14 h of light compared to the ones reared at 20 deg C with a photoperiod of 12 h of light. By electrophoresis, four HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) (170, 177, 196 and 208 kDa) polypeptides during vitellogenin maturation were identified in hemolymph. Therefore, glucose and vitellogenin concentration in hemolymph can be utilized as indicators of ongoing ovarian maturation process.] La presente ricerca si inquadra nello studio dei principali fattori che intervengono nella fase riproduttiva del gambero australiano (Cherax quadricarinatus). La concentrazione di glucosio nell´emolinfa è risultata significativamente più alta nei gamberi allevati alla temperatura di 28 gradi C e con un fotoperiodo di 14 h di luce rispetto agli animali allevati alla temperatura di 20 gradi C e con un fotoperiodo di 12 h di luce. L´analisi elettroforetica ha consentito di evidenziare la presenza nell´emolinfa di quattro polipeptidi HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) (170, 177, 196 e 208 kDa) durante la fase di maturazione delle vitellogenine. I dati raccolti nel presente studio indicano che la concentrazione di glucosio e vitellogenine nell´emolinfa possono essere utilizzati come indicatori del processo di maturazione degli ovari dei gamberi
