Abstract | The research reported in this article aimed to investigate didactic aspects involved in the production of digital videos by mathematics pre-service teachers for the participation in the Festival of Digital Videos and Mathematics Education. The data were produced in the course named "Didactics of Mathematics" with two classes of an undergraduate course in Mathematics at a public state university. The video production process was based on the notion of “digital mathematical performance”. Based on the instructor's supervision, the groups produced six videos, four of which were submitted to the Festival, exploring different elementary and high school mathematical contents and using different artistic-narrative languages. The didactic proposal is innovative considering the interface involving the use of digital technologies and the arts in Mathematics Education, with emphasis on multimodality. Participation in the Festival offered the means to build alternative images of mathematics and aesthetic mathematical experiences for future teachers. |

La investigación de este artículo tuvo como objetivo indagar aspectos didácticos en la producción de videos digitales por estudiantes de matemáticas con el objetivo de participar en el Festival de Videos Digitales y Educación Matemática. Los datos fueron producidos en la disciplina "Didáctica de las Matemáticas" con dos clases de un curso de Licenciatura en Matemáticas en una universidad pública estatal. A producción del video se basó en la noción “desempeño matemático digital”. Con las orientaciones del docente, los grupos produjeron seis videos, cuatro de ellos se presentaron al festival, explorando contenidos matemáticos de la Educación Básica y utilizando lenguajes artístico-narrativos. La propuesta es innovadora considerando la interfaz que involucra el uso de las tecnologías digitales y las artes en la Educación Matemática, principalmente en la multimodalidad. La participación en el Festival ofreció los medios para construir imágenes alternativas de las matemáticas y experiencias estéticas matemáticas para los futuros docentes. |
