OBJECTIVE：To effectively strengthen the management of high-alert medications, so as to ensure the medication safety for patients. METHODS： To establish management system of high-alert medications and develop list of high-alert medications and design specific warning sign. RESULTS ： Through taking a series of effective management strategies of high-alert medications, the safety of the clinical application of high-alert medications was improved, and the level of medical treatment and pharmaceutical care was increased. CONCLUSIONS ： The high-alert medications are a special class of drugs, therefore, hospitals need to pay close attention to them and strengthen the management, so as to ensure the medication safety for patients.
