Abstract_FL Regulatory T cell is an important subgroup of T cells, which plays a vital role in maintaining the body's immune stability and preventing autoimmune diseases and so on. Now, it is believed that the immunological inflammatory reaction acts throughout the whole process of occurrence and development of ischemic stroke, which caused by cerebral ischemia and reperfusion plays an important role in cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury. As negative immune regulation cells, Tregs have certain brain protection by signiifcantly inhibiting local inlfammatory reaction induced by the brain ischemia and reperfusion injury. This paper reviews the role of CD4+CD25+Tregs in the pathogenesis of ischemic stroke.
