Notes The contents of some mineral elements (potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, copper and zinc) in tobacco leaf samples were determined by adopting inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). The results showed that: the detection limit of this measurement method was low, being 0.002~ 0.004 mg/L; its precision was high, and relative stand- ard deviation was equal to or less than 3.0% ; its accuracy was high, and standard-adding recovery was more than 98% ; the relative error varied from 1.08% to 2.61% in the contrastive analysis of tobacco leaf samples and standard substances.
