Cold waterlogged paddy field is one of the main medium-low yield fields. Ditching and drainage, water logging prevention are the primary technical measures for the improvement and managemenl of cold waterlogged paddy field. Combined with the existing domestic and abroad research achievements and recent implementation effects, this paper proposed the technical regulations of ditching and drainage for cold waterlogged paddy field. The general principles are getting rid of waterlogging and lowering ground water, combined with drainage by open channel and pipe, the ditching way in field adjusted to local conditions should be ditched into different shapes. It is necessary to desih drainage ditch after rice transplanting so that forming good ditch.
