Abstract_FL The application of HVDC has become more widely .However, the study of power quality events in HVDC lags far behind .By analyzing several years of fault data of power system recorded at Gezhouba , Jiangling and Longquan substations in Hubei province , the power quality disturbances happened there are classified and the mecha-nisms are studied .And the typical parameters have been detected from DC power quality disturbances , which provide reference for study of mathematical modeling .
