Abstract [ Objectives] The paper was to study effects of different microbial agents on occurrence of tobacco bacterial wilt. [ Methods I Antagonistic strains against Ralstonia solanacearum were screened from in situ soil, and prepared into four different combinations. The number of soil microorganisms and incidence of bacterial wilt of four combinations were observed. [ Results] The incidence rate of bacterial wilt treated by microbial agent OR-1 was significantly lower than that in control, and the control efficacy against bacterial wilt reached 67%. [ Conclusions] Application of microbial agent OR-1 could effectively reduce the incidence rate and disease index of bacterial wilt, thus improving the quality of tobacco.

Diversity index in Tab. 2 showed that there were great differences among treatments, and three indicators in treatment T2 were relatively higher. [...]the soil microbial diversity in treatment T2 was good, and the content of beneficial fungi was absolutely dominant. 2.2 Occurrence of bacterial wilt in various treatments The occurrence status of bacterial wilt in various treatments is displayed in Tab. 3. 3 Conclusions and Discussion Application of different microbial agents could change community structure and diversity of soil microorganisms; survey data of bacterial wilt demonstrated that microbial agent treatments performed higher resistance against bacterial wilt than control, and could effectively reduee the incidence rate and disease index of bacterial wilt. The incidence rate of QR-1 agent was lower than that of other agents, and the tobacco yield was relatively higher, with higher benefits. [...]QR-1 agent had significant prevention and control effect on bacterial wilt, and the field control efficiency reached 67%. First report of fusarium wilt of tobacco caused by Fusarium kyuskueme in China[ J].
