Bismurrayafoline E: a new dimeric carbazole alkaloid from Murraya koenigii

The ethanolic extract of the leaves of M. koenigii afforded a new carbazole alkaloid, which was identified as bismurrayafoline E ( 1) on the basis of spectroscopic analysis.
