Linearization of the head-capacity curve in the analysis of pipe networks including pumps

The Linear Theory Method (LTM) for the analysis of pipe networks is extended to include pumps with variable head. A new method of linearization is presented which ensures convergence for arbitrarily shaped head-capacity curves.
