Abstract The development of a flow-through electrochemical system that enables production of conducting polymer colloids has been addressed. These colloids can be electrocoagulated by application of an appropriate negative potential, however, the coatings that are formed re-dissolve once the negative potential is removed. It has also been shown that it is possible to produce conducting electroactive polymers containing active protein.
