Laser-induced frequency sweeping in an electron-beam sustained carbon dioxide laser

A theoretical and experimental investigation of laser-induced frequency chirping in an e-beam controlled CO 2 laser is presented. The frequency increased as the cube of time at a rate proportional to the laser output power.
