Effect of air oxidation on coal hydrogenation
Japanese Taiheiyo coal (75.9%C) was oxidized with air at 250 °C for 3–40 h and at 300 °C for 3–10 h. The weight decreased from 16.3 to 46.5% at 250 °C and from 21.7 to 41.3% at 300 °C.
