Minjung feminism Korean Women's Movement for Gender and Class Liberation

Despite the tenacious grip of sexism in Korea, over the past decade a mass-based women's movement has sprouted and grown. The feminist movement weds together the minjung, or mass people's movement, with the struggle for yo'song haebang, or women's liberation.
