Three metal covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs), namely RuCOF‐ETTA, RuCOF‐TPB and RuCOF‐ETTBA, were synthesized by incorporating the photosensitive RuII tris(2,2′‐bipyridine) unit into the skeleton.
