Peralkylation of cyclen with corresponding N-iodoacetyl amines was utilized as the key step in the synthesis. Abstract_FL On a réalisé la synthèse de dix-huit complexes obtenus à partir de N-alkyl-amides dérivés de l'acide (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacétique) (DOTA) par réaction avec des cations choisis de lanthanides(III) (Dy 3+ , Tb 3+ et Tm 3+ ); on a évalué leurs propriétés magnétiques et on les a comparés avec celles des produits obtenus à partir de l'amide de base, DOTAM. On a fait appel à une peralkylation du cyclène avec les amines N-iodoacétylées correspondantes comme étape clé de ces synthèses. Les spectres de transfert de saturation de l'échange chimique (TSEC) des complexes ont été mesurés à 37°C et ils mettent en évidence que les complexes du Tm 3+ dérivés de DOTAM alkylés possèdent les propriétés les plus favorables pour agir comme agents potentiels de contraste en imagerie de résonance magnétique par transfert de saturation de l'échange chimique paramagnétique (TSEC).
