In this limit some specific phenomena arise, one of which, the appearence of the singularity in the trajectories of the Regge-poles, is discussed. It is shown that the increase of the slope of the diffraction peak at small −
t, observed in ISR experiments, can be explained, in the order of magnitude, with the help of the theory exploiting the small value of the pion mass. A (20–40)% decrease of the slope of ϱ-trajectory at
t=0 is predicted as compared to the slope at −
t ⪢ 4
μ
