Oxidative fluorination of some organoantimony and organotellurium compounds by 2-hydroperfluoropropyl azide

Triphenylantimony and diphenyltellurium are readily oxidatively fluorinated by 2-hydroperfluoropropyl azide, CF 3CHFCF 2N 3, to form appropriate difluorides from moderate to high yields.
