Summary:A 72-year-old woman was refered to our clinic for the treatment of a pancreas tumor. Examination of the lesion by angiography and abdominal computed tomography showed a tumor stain in the pancreas and gall-bladder. We diagnosed the lesion as an islet cell tumor of the pancreas head and a tumor of the gallbladder. The patient underwent a pyrolus-preserving pancreatoduodenectomy. The postoperative course was un-eventful. Histological examination of the resected specimens showed clear cell carcinoma, which was the same type as a renal cell carcinoma resected 17 years earlier. The patient has not shown any further signs of recur-rence for two years.
