Ferrocenylsubstituted α,β-unsaturated ketones in the synthesis of dihydropyrimidinethiones

The reaction has been studied of ferrocenylsubstituted α,β-unsaturated ketones with thiourea in alkaline ethanol leading to the corresponding dihydropyrimidinethiones.
