Summary:The magnetic properties of a mixed spins (7/2, 1) anti-ferrimagnetic ovalene nano-structure have been investigated using Monte Carlo simulations. We start by discussing the ground state phase diagrams corresponding to several physical parameters. Then the effects of the crystal field, the exchange coupling interactions and the external magnetic field on the magnetizations, the compensation temperatures and the hysteresis behaviors have been studied. Interesting results have been found, especially, the appearance of two compensation temperatures and their behaviors according to different physical parameters. •Magnetic properties of ovalene nano-structure are studied using Monte Carlo simulations.•Ground state phase diagrams of ovalene nano-structure have established given.•Existence of two compensation temperatures for a special physical parameters.•Two super-paramagnetic phases are observed.•Hysteresis cycles of ovalene nano-structure have been investigated.
